Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is recruiting for a District Manager, Neuroscience to be based in the Southwest Territory, covering Arizona, New Mexico and El Paso, Texas. This patient-focused team develops medicines for neuropsychiatric and neurologic disorders.

You will lead a team of Sales Specialists, shape district strategy, coach staff, manage budgets, and partner with Medical Affairs and Marketing to deliver ethical, compliant growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees preferred.
• Travel up to 50% across territory.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of district strategy and a coordinated district business plan.
• Directly supervise Sales Specialists including hiring, onboarding, performance management, and compensation execution.
• Provide regular field-based and virtual coaching to strengthen selling effectiveness and territory planning.
• Drive demand generation leadership across hospital settings and care transitions within the district.
• Maintain expert knowledge of Neuroscience portfolio and coach the team to apply guidelines.
• Analyze district performance and market dynamics to identify gaps and priorities.
• Partner with Sales, Medical Affairs, and Marketing for coordinated execution.
• Set expectations for performance and behaviors, and reinforce accountability and inclusion.
• Adhere to healthcare compliance policies while responsibly using AI-enabled tools.
