Job summary

Lundbeck is seeking a BioPharmaceutical Area Sales Manager for Florida, covering Tampa, Orlando and Miami. You will lead a high-performing Account Manager team, set strategic direction, and drive sales in our psychiatry portfolio while building key relationships with KOLs and payer partners.

The role requires 3+ years of sales management in biopharma or related fields, strong leadership, and excellent communication. Travel up to 70% is expected; residents near the territory are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Sciences degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 3+ years sales management experience in Pharmaceutical, Biopharmaceuticals, Biologics or related experience.
• Internal Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of Commercial experience in areas such as Sales Management, Training, Market Access, Sales Operations, or Marketing or a minimum of 2 years consistent sales success within Lundbeck.
• Documented track record of sales success and financial management.
• Demonstrated leadership with the ability to develop, train and provide feedback to a group of account managers.
• Must possess superior communication skills, both written and oral.
• Driving is an essential duty of this job; must have a valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Must live within 100 miles of territory boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and manage a diverse, high performing sales team to achieve sales goals for promoted products.
• Set and lead the development of area strategic direction and tactical sales plans using robust analytical skills.
• Monitor execution of marketing plans and promotions and provide feedback to optimize results.
• Analyze sales reports and develop action plans to improve performance and territory growth.
• Ensure timely communication with account managers and cross-functional teams to deliver results.
