Scorpion Therapeutics in Bloomington, IN is seeking a field-based pharmaceutical sales professional to execute product promotions within the assigned territory and collaborate with the District Sales Manager on day-to-day activities.

The role emphasizes building relationships with psychiatrists and healthcare centers, navigating reimbursement processes, managing budgets, and meeting compliance, with travel and occasional overnights expected.

Qualifications

• BS/BA with GPA > 3.0 and pharma sales experience preferred.
• 3+ years in pharmaceutical sales; associate consideration possible.
• Experience in psychiatry, CNS, or pain management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute and promote products aligned to sales strategy in the assigned territory.
• Collaborate with the District Sales Manager on day-to-day sales and product promotion activities.
• Analyze local market; develop, execute, and monitor performance to maximize product use in territory.
• Maintain current product, disease, competitive, and market reimbursement knowledge.
• Determine, implement, and monitor optimal resource allocation within territory.
• Communicate persuasively using advanced selling and negotiation skills to target audiences.
• Identify, build, and leverage advocacy channels.
• Secure product access and reimbursement within institutional systems as needed.
• Manage travel and promotional budget.
• Complete monitoring and reporting requirements using approved systems.
• Maintain compliance with all laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Meet industry-standard credentialing requirements of healthcare providers and customer facilities.
• Additional ad-hoc projects as needed.
