Job summary

Duke Radiology Neuroradiology is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider in Durham, NC, to join a collaborative team and deliver high-quality patient care. Primary hours are 8 AM to 5 PM, with scheduling flexibility as needed to meet patient volumes and clinical needs.

The role combines imaging-guided procedures, clinic visits, and coordination with physicians and staff to support a broad neuroradiology program.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with a Master's degree.
• Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program; Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to assist physicians and provide patient care.
• Triage patient calls, take histories, conduct exams, and document findings in the chart.
• Provide telehealth and in-person clinic visits for Neuroradiology CT Spine Intervention patients.
• Work with supervising physician to determine treatment plans and complete preauthorization paperwork.
• Order and schedule laboratory studies and diagnostic procedures; explain procedures to patients.
