Job summary

Abbott Laboratories in the United States is seeking a Clinical Specialist I for CPT in Eugene/Corvallis, OR. You will provide technical clinical expertise and support to sales teams and customers, performing complex programming and case support.

Travel up to 25% and collaborate with Territory Managers to grow the Chronic Pain Therapies business, delivering training, educational in-services, and product guidance while ensuring FDA/regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering or related field.
• 1-2 years’ work experience, preferably with patients in clinical setting.
• Ability to communicate, understand and educate clinical data in the Chronic Pain Therapies space.
• Strong clinical skills.
• Excellent organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
• Excellent interpersonal verbal, written and presentation skills with ability to communicate at multiple levels.
• Capable of building strong working relationships with internal/external customers.
• Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, clinical, and programming assistance to Territory Managers.
• Assist with after-hours call support and activities.
• Build trust and relationships with accounts and customers.
• Perform complex programming and case support.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of assigned accounts and customers.
• Provide training and education on Abbott Chronic Pain Therapies.
• Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and internal policies.
• Travel up to 25% within assigned region.
