Abbott is recruiting for a Clinical Specialist I, CPT in Elizabethtown, KY. You will provide clinical expertise and support the sales process to colleagues and customers, working independently to maximize sales opportunities and territory efficiency.

The role emphasizes programming proficiency, educational in-services, and strong collaboration with Territory Managers to enhance customer relationships and product adoption across Abbott Chronic Pain Therapies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years’ work experience, preferably with patient interactions in a clinical setting.
• Ability to communicate, understand and educate clinical data in Chronic Pain Therapies.
• Strong clinical skills.
• Excellent organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills across levels.
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal/external customers.
• Ability to handle unpredictable schedules and tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical, clinical, and programming assistance to Territory Managers.
• Assist Territory Managers in after-hours call support and activities.
• Builds trust and rapport with customers and integrates into accounts.
• Proficient in complex programming and case support.
• Travels up to 25% within the assigned region.
• Delivers training and education on Abbott Chronic Pain Therapies to clinicians and staff.
• Maintains in-depth knowledge of accounts and monitors competitor activity.
• Develops sales strategies for capital equipment opportunities.
