Job summary

Endeavor Health in Arlington Heights, IL is seeking a part-time Patient Care Technician for the Neurology Unit during nights. 24 hours per week with 7:00pm–7:30am shifts and every other weekend. Orientation for a week is required.

You will assist with personal care, mobility, vitals, and documentation under RN/LPN supervision. The role requires a CNA certification, CPR, and current enrollment in a nursing program.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited CNA course and CNA exam.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
• Enrollment in an accredited nursing program with clinical rotation.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal care under RN/LPN supervision.
• Help with mobility, safety, and comfort using proper body mechanics.
• Record vitals, input/output, and report abnormalities to the nurse.
• Perform procedures as directed (EKG, Foley care, etc.).
• Collect specimens and document care in the EMR.
• Support admitting, discharging, and transportation as needed.
• Answer unit phones and direct calls to appropriate parties.
