Bassett Healthcare Network in central New York invites a full-time neurologist to join an established group and build a subspecialty in Neuromuscular, Seizure, Epilepsy, Movement Disorders or Headache. Visa sponsorship available.

This is a mix of outpatient care with some tele-neurology, and potential academic appointment at Columbia University. Salary ranges from $320,000 to $350,000 with an incentive plan and a sign-on bonus up to $100,000.

Qualifications

• MD, DO or MBBS degree.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified.
• New York State Licensure.
• BLS Certification Required.
• Stroke experience; reading EEG and/or performing EMG desirable.
• DEA Required.

Responsibilities

• Join an established group of neurologists in an academic setting.
• Opportunity to develop a neurology subspecialty program.
• Anticipated mix of specialty and general neurology, with at least 50% in specialty.
• Mostly in-person outpatient clinic with some remote tele-neurology.
• Academic appointment with Columbia University and teaching Bassett IM Residents & Columbia-Bassett Medical Students.
• Inpatient & Outpatient Tele-Neurology support from University of Rochester.
• Very limited call; 2-4 days per month.
• Salary range: $320,000 - $350,000 with incentive plan and potential upside.

• Salary Range: $320,000 - $350,000. This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards
• Bassett offers Physicians an incentive plan with no earnings cap. Individual performance and productivity can significantly enhance compensation with potential upside realized within the first year of employment.
