Bassett Healthcare Network, a dynamic academic health system in central New York, seeks a full-time Neurologist to develop a subspecialty program in areas such as Neuromuscular, Seizure/Epilepsy, Movement Disorders or Headache. Visa sponsorship is available and there is an academic appointment potential at Columbia University.

Qualifications

• MD/DO/MBBS with board eligible or certified.
• New York State Licensure required.
• BLS certification required.
• Stroke experience; EEG reading and EMG desirable.

Responsibilities

• Join an established group of neurologists in an academic setting.
• Opportunity to develop a neurology subspecialty program.
• Anticipated mix of specialty and general neurology, with at least 50% in specialty.
• Mostly in-person outpatient clinic with opportunity for remote tele-neurology.
• Academic appointment at Columbia University and teaching Bassett IM Residents & Columbia-Bassett Medical Students.
• Inpatient & Outpatient Tele-Neurology support from University of Rochester.
• Very limited call; 2-4 days per month.
