Job summary

Bassett Healthcare Network in Central New York seeks a full-time Neurologist to build a subspecialty program in one of Neuromuscular, Seizure/ Epilepsy, Movement Disorders or Headache.

Opportunity for academic appointment at Columbia University and teaching Bassett IM Residents & Columbia-Bassett Medical Students. Mostly in-person outpatient clinic with some remote tele-neurology; limited call and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited USA Neurology Residency.
• New York State Licensure or eligibility to obtain.
• Board certification in Neurology (BC/BE) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Join an established group of neurologists in an academic setting.
• Develop a neurology subspecialty program in one of the specified areas.
• Anticipate a mix of specialty and general neurology, with at least 50% in specialty.
• Mostly in-person outpatient clinic with some remote tele-neurology.
• Academic appointment and teaching Bassett IM Residents & Columbia-Bassett Medical Students.
• Inpatient & Outpatient Tele-Neurology support from University of Rochester.
• Very limited call; 2-4 days per month.
