Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Room patients in outpatient clinic and assist physician with exams and procedures.
• Coordinate communications between physicians, staff, patients and families.
• Document patient histories, screenings, and orders for providers.
• Monitor patients with chronic conditions and educate on next level of care to reduce readmission risks.
• Prioritize physician workload and relay information between providers and care teams.
• Respond to department emergencies in Heart Center and Cath Lab as needed.
• ROUNDS on inpatients to assess response to treatment and readiness for discharge.
• Support program marketing with internal and external customers and primary care providers.
