Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Nurse Clinician for our multi-specialty clinic in Chicago. This full-time, salaried position offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00am to 4:30pm.

The role requires an Associate’s degree in nursing, an Illinois RN license, and BLS CPR certification. You will perform patient assessments, provide nursing interventions, and educate patients as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Nursing required.
• Illinois State Licensed RN required.
• AHA BLS CPR certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical experience in acute or ambulatory care.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document in medical records.
• Perform routine nursing duties including phlebotomy, medications, vital signs.
• Provide patient education and coordinate with physicians and other departments.
• Triage telephone calls and manage urgent/emergent situations per protocols.
• Collaborate with staff and supervisors to improve patient care processes.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures related to patient care.
