Responsibilities

Provide expert, age-appropriate patient care within the sub-specialty as part of a multidisciplinary health care team.
Interpret data, diagnose, and order interventions; obtain history and perform exams.
Develop care/treatment plans; provide education to patients and families.
Order and deliver emergency care including CPR and anaphylaxis management.
Prescribe medications per Maryland Nurse Practice Act and DEA guidelines.
Coordinate IRB-approved clinical research studies and protocol-driven tests.
Precept and educate APPs and students; act as EPIC Super User for the disease group.
Manage fiscal resources and coordinate referrals to optimize care.
