Job summary

The Johns Hopkins University is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to support outpatient neurology care at Johns Hopkins Bayview. You will interview patients, take histories, perform exams, order labs, coordinate care, educate patients and families, and participate in clinic sessions under physician supervision.

You will prescribe treatments, manage documentation in Epic Meditech and EPR, and contribute to research initiatives when appropriate.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing, RN license and NP certification.
• Must be licensed as NP in Maryland or another state where practicing.
• Experience may substitute for master's degree per JHU equivalency formula.

Responsibilities

• Oversees patient care flow within the neurology clinic and coordinates with physicians.
• Prescribes medications and orders labs as indicated.
• Interacts with patients and families to provide education and follow-up care.
• Participates in clinical trials and research activities when applicable.
