Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Neurology Unit on the night shift in Arlington Heights, IL. The role includes personal care, mobility assistance, vitals, and documentation in the EMR, under RN/LPN supervision.

Full-time position with a 7:00 PM–7:30 AM shift, every other weekend, and orientation during the first week. CNA certification and CPR required; EMT/paramedic training or nursing program enrollment preferred.

Qualifications

• High school level knowledge typically completed.
• Completion of accredited CNA course and CNA certification exam, EMT or paramedics training, or current enrollment in a nursing program with clinical rotation.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, input/output, accu-checks, and report abnormalities to RN/LPN.
• Assist with patient mobility and safety under supervision of RN/LPN.
• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, feeding, and hygiene under supervision.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, transfers, and transport; answer unit phones.
