Job summary

Mercy Health’s Springfield Regional Medical Center is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide skilled nursing care in Neurology and Med Surg settings, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team under RN supervision.

The position is part-time, 24 hours per week, with shifts 7pm–7:30am and every third weekend. Mercy Health offers competitive pay, benefits, tuition assistance, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in the state of employment.
• BLS Basic Life Support certification required.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required for specialty areas.

Responsibilities

• Participate in nursing process including data collection, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Provide direct nursing care and assist with patient care under RN supervision.
• Administer medications and treatments within scope of practice.
• Perform phlebotomy and document patient data per charting guidelines.
• Monitor patient responses and report changes to the health care team.
