Job summary

The role supports front desk operations, collects payments, and schedules follow-up or specialty appointments while maintaining providers' schedules to optimize patient flow. Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous health care experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Greets and registers patients; notifies medical staff of their arrival.
• Verifies current address and insurance status.
• Schedules referral appointments with specialists, hospital testing and lab work.
• Completes prior authorization of testing according to insurance requirements.
• Checks out patient from the office; collects payments and schedules follow-up appointments.
• Maintains providers' schedules, optimizing appointment efficiency.
• Confirms daily appointments and assists in improving registration systems.
