Atlantic Medical Group in Summit, NJ is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant I for a full-time, day-shift role in AMG Neurology. You will perform direct and indirect patient care under physician supervision and support a wide range of clinical and administrative tasks.

Qualifications include a HS diploma, CCMA certification,1+ year outpatient experience, BLS, andEPIC EMR proficiency. Excellent communication and professionalism are essential in this team-centric environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• National Certification CCMA from: NHA, AAMA, NAHP, ARMA, AMT, AMCA, or NCCT.
• 1 year of experience in Health Care services.
• 2+ Years Experience in outpatient, ambulatory setting.
• BLS upon hire.
• EPIC or similar EMR system.
• Ability to work within computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle patient intake and update medical records.
• Record vital signs and collect specimens.
• Administer medications under physician supervision.
• Assist with walk-in and scheduled visits; ensure data quality.
• Guide patients through the health care system and coordinate appointments.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and assist with referrals.
