Job summary

UCHealth Anschutz Outpatient Pavilion in Aurora, CO is seeking a full-time RN to provide direct patient care in a neurology clinic setting, following the nursing process and UCHealth standards.

You will plan, implement, and evaluate care, monitor patient status, educate patients and families, coordinate with other disciplines, and support staff while maintaining safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Graduate of a RN program; State RN licensure required (BLS).
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care plans based on assessment to optimize outcomes.
• Monitors and communicates patient condition; coordinates care with across disciplines.
• Evaluates learning needs of patient and family; provides education appropriate to age and condition.
• Effectively delegates care to ancillary personnel; may precept students and new hires.
• Works in a fast-paced environment with critical thinking and decisive judgement.
