Austin Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Center (AVES) is hiring a Client Patient Coordinator for Neurology. The role coordinates referrals, schedules, and client communications to deliver high-quality care for patients and families.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years in customer service.
• Minimum 2 years in a veterinary role in emergency or specialty hospital.
• Fluent English (spoken and written); multilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily appointment schedules for doctors and ensure efficient workflow.
• Answer and return client calls promptly with professionalism.
• Monitor and respond to client emails and confirm upcoming appointments.
• Provide outstanding client service in a Fear Free environment.
• Maintain clear communication with clients, referring veterinarians, and internal teams.
• Assist practitioners with administrative tasks to allow focus on medical care.
• Prepare medical records and ensure referral documents are ready ahead of appointments.
• Demonstrate multitasking and time management in a fast-paced clinical setting.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all duties.
• Collaborate with specialists and support staff to improve workflow and outcomes.
