Job summary

NOWHealthcare seeks a Neurologist for a traditional outpatient position in the Cleveland, OH area. You will join two other neurologists, with a Monday–Friday 8am–5pm schedule and a focus on comprehensive neurological care.

Responsibilities include cranial nerve exams, imaging interpretation, EEG/EMG/NCS tests, lumbar punctures, and disease management. Ohio license and board eligibility are required, with visa sponsorship available if needed.

Qualifications

• Ohio State Medical License is required.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.
• Open to J1 or H1B visa as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform neurological examinations assessing cranial nerve function, motor strength, sensation, reflexes, balance and cognition.
• Order and interpret neuroimaging (MRI/CT) to identify lesions, strokes or tumors.
• Conduct EEGs, EMG and NCS for seizure activity or neuromuscular disorders.

Role Description:

• Neurologist
• Cleveland, OH
• Traditional Outpatient Neurology position.
• M-F: 8am – 5pm schedule.
• Joining 2 other Neurologists on the team.
• perform specialized physical exams assessing cranial nerve function, motor strength, sensation, reflexes, balance, coordination, and cognitive status to pinpoint the anatomical origin of a neurological issue.
• Diagnostic Testing Order & Interpretation:
• Neuroimaging: Ordering and evaluating MRI and CT scans to detect structural lesions, tumors, strokes, or structural vascular changes.
• Electrophysiology: Performing or interpreting Electroencephalograms (EEG) for seizure activity, Electromyography (EMG), and Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS) for peripheral nerve or muscle dysfunction.
• Lumbar Punctures: Performing spinal taps to analyze cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) for signs of infection, neuroinflammation, or autoimmune markers.
• Disease Management & Therapeutics
