Job summary

NOWHealthcare is seeking a Neurologist for the Cleveland, OH area in a traditional outpatient setting. The role supports a team of two other neurologists with a Monday–Friday schedule, 8am–5pm. A J1 or H1B sponsorship is available as needed.

Qualifications

• Ohio State Medical License is required.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized neurologic examinations to assess cranial nerve function, motor strength, sensation, reflexes, balance, coordination, and cognition.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests including MRI/CT to detect lesions, tumors, strokes, or vascular changes.
• Conduct EEG, EMG, and NCS studies or interpretations to evaluate seizure activity and nerve/muscle dysfunction.
• Perform lumbar punctures to analyze CSF for infection, inflammation, or autoimmune markers.

Role Description

Neurologist Cleveland, OH Traditional Outpatient Neurology position. M-F: 8am - 5pm schedule. Joining 2 other Neurologists on the team.

• perform specialized physical exams assessing cranial nerve function, motor strength, sensation, reflexes, balance, coordination, and cognitive status to pinpoint the anatomical origin of a neurological issue.
• Diagnostic Testing Order & Interpretation: Neuroimaging: Ordering and evaluating MRI and CT scans to detect structural lesions, tumors, strokes, or structural vascular changes.
• Electrophysiology: Performing or interpreting Electroencephalograms (EEG) for seizure activity, Electromyography (EMG), and Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS) for peripheral nerve or muscle dysfunction.
• Lumbar Punctures: Performing spinal taps to analyze cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) for signs of infection, neuroinflammation, or autoimmune markers.
