Atrius Health, part of the Optum family, is seeking a Neurologist to join our Chestnut Hill, MA team. You will perform physical assessments, develop care plans, and collaborate with primary care and specialists to coordinate patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical School or Osteopathic Medicine program.
• Unrestricted licensure to practice medicine in Massachusetts or ability to obtain prior to start.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology (BC/BE).
• Current active DEA licensure or ability to obtain post-hire.
• Current Mass DPH CS Registration or ability to obtain post-hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs physical assessments on patients with neurological conditions.
• Develop and implement a plan of care, and prescribe medications, exercises or other treatments.
• Collaborates with clinical and administrative teams to manage patient care and continuity of care.
• Serves as a liaison between primary care providers and specialists such as surgeons.
• Teaches and counsels individuals and groups on health care needs; contributes to education programs.
• Participates in the development of health education programs.
