As part of Optum Care Delivery, you’ll have access to clinical resources and support while practicing in an ambulatory setting. Candidates must have MD/DO, Massachusetts license or eligibility, and BC/BE in Neurology.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school (MD/DO).
• Unrestricted licensure in Massachusetts or ability to obtain prior to start.
• BC/BE in Neurology or ability to obtain prior to start.
• Current active DEA licensure or ability to obtain post-hire, per state regulations.
• Current active Mass DPH Controlled Substances Registration or ability to obtain post-hire, per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Performs physical assessments on patients with specialized conditions.
• Develop and implement a plan of care for these patients, including medications and therapies.
• Collaborates with clinical and administrative teams to manage patient care and ensure continuity.
• Serves as liaison between primary care providers and specialists such as general surgeons.
• Teaches and counsels individuals and groups on health care needs; educates in areas of specialization.
• Participates in development of health education programs.
