Job summary

Atrius Health, part of the Optum family, is seeking a Neurologist to join our team in Chestnut Hill, MA. This role supports autonomous ambulatory practice within a national health care organization with strong clinical resources and collaboration.

You will assess patients with specialized conditions, develop comprehensive care plans, and collaborate with primary care and specialists. The role also includes teaching and contributing to health education initiatives across the network.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical School or School of Osteopathic Medicine.
• Unrestricted MA license or ability to obtain before start.
• BC/BE in Neurology or ability to obtain before start.
• Current active DEA licensure or ability to obtain post-hire.
• Current active Mass DPH CS Registration or ability to obtain post-hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs physical assessments on patients with specialized conditions.
• Develop and implement a plan of care for these patients, and prescribe medications or therapies.
• Collaborates with clinical and administrative teams in patient care management.
• Serves as a liaison between primary care and specialists such as general surgeons.
• Teaches and counsels individuals and groups on health care needs.
• Participates in development of health education programs.
