Job summary

Avera McKennan is seeking a qualified physician for its Neurology division in Sioux Falls. The physician will provide and manage direct medical evaluation, diagnosis, procedures, and care within a recognized neurology practice area, following established protocols.

The role requires performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, educating patients and families, and maintaining accurate medical records. Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team and adherence to safety and compliance

Qualifications

• MD license or DO license to practice in state of service.
• Demonstrated ability to work with healthcare teams and follow clinical protocols.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and families, and provide health education.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients per approved protocols and standards.
• Provide medical services and health education to patients and families.
• Maintain patient records and ensure referrals when needed.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as appropriate.
• Collaborate with care team to optimize patient outcomes.
