Job summary

The Learning Effectiveness Program (LEP) at The University of Denver is seeking LEP Tutors for the 2026-2027 academic year. Tutors support students one-on-one across diverse subjects and help build confidence, independence, and academic skills in a non-teaching tutoring context.

Hours vary by student need during Fall, Winter, and Spring quarters, with additional hours possible via the Tutoring Coordinator. This is a part-time, non-benefited role based in Denver, CO.

Qualifications

• LEP Tutors must have at least 1 year of demonstrated tutoring experience.
• Be located in the Denver Metro area and provide in-person availability.
• Complete the New Tutor Orientation and CRLA Level I/II training.

Responsibilities

• Tutor students one-on-one and help develop independent learning skills.
• Maintain and update availability and subjects in Accudemia.
• Complete tutoring assessments within 48 hours of each appointment.
