Job summary

LDA Minnesota seeks licensed teachers to join our tutoring team. We provide individualized instruction to students with learning differences, ADHD, and related challenges, delivering one-on-one support to build confidence and academic success.

Tutors can work online or in-person across various settings (office, library, school, client homes) with flexible hours, typical availability after school and in summer, and a background check required.

Qualifications

• Current Minnesota teaching license required.
• Experience tutoring students with learning differences preferred.
• Training in Structured Literacy (Orton-Gillingham or similar multisensory reading instruction) preferred.
• Experience monitoring progress and documenting outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, evidence-based tutoring to students with learning differences.
• Tailor tutoring plans to student needs and goals.
• Offer flexible scheduling and conduct sessions online or in-person as arranged.
• Document progress and communicate outcomes with families.
