Job summary

Indiana University Health System is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technologist for a full-time position at Methodist Hospital. The role runs on a 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, 3x12 schedule with no weekend shifts.

Holiday coverage is rotated among the team. The successful candidate will perform neurophysiological testing and monitoring in clinical, Neurotelemetry, and EMU settings, demonstrating knowledge of ICU, epilepsy, neonatal patterns, and other conditions.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent years of experience is required.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Graduate from a CAAHEP accredited Neurodiagnostic Program is preferred.
  • Requires a minimum of R.EEG T. or EP credentialing based on department requirements.
  • Requires current BLS certification.
  • Requires ability to meet all requirements of competencies in which Registries are held.
  • Requires manual dexterity, visual acuity and the ability to concentrate for extended amounts of time under stressful conditions in order to properly and effectively administer Neurophysiological monitoring and testing.

  • Reports findings and triages patient care needs when necessary.
  • Maintains high quality recordings and skilled in troubleshooting techniques.
  • Collaborates with the continued growth of less experienced team members, shares knowledge, and precepts peers.
