Indiana University Health in Fishers is seeking a part-time Neurodiagnostic Technologist II to help build a brand-new service line. The role involves three 8-hour shifts per week and participates in an on-call rotation.
You will work independently and with another Neurodiagnostic Tech, collaborating with the Neurologist and inpatient teams, while adapting to evolving needs and flexible scheduling.
This part‑time, day‑shift Neurodiagnostic Technologist II role is based at Fishers Hospital and offers the opportunity to help build a brand‑new service line from the ground up. The position consists of three 8‑hour shifts each week and includes participation in an on‑call rotation.
The technologist will work both independently and alongside another Neurodiagnostic Tech, collaborating closely with the Neurologist and inpatient care teams. The hiring team is seeking someone who is energized by joining a new program, comfortable adapting to evolving needs, and open to flexible scheduling.
Prepares and provides neurophysiological testing and monitoring in the clinical, Neurotelemetry, and EMU settings according to departmental guidelines. Demonstrates knowledge/understanding of ICU, Epilepsy and seizure, neonatal and typical neurophysiological patterns. Works with a minimal degree of supervision when recording and monitoring patient data. Reports findings and triages patient care needs when necessary. Maintains high quality recordings and is skilled in troubleshooting techniques. Collaborates with the continued growth of less experienced team members, shares knowledge, and precepts peers.
