Indiana University Health is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technologist for a Special Weekend Option role at Methodist Hospital. The position offers rotating weekend coverage for holidays and a new hire bonus for qualifying candidates.

The role involves preparing and providing neurophysiological testing and monitoring across clinical, Neurotelemetry, and EMU settings, with supervision as needed. Candidates should have a relevant Neurodiagnostic program background and pursue ABRET credentials.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED required; Associate's preferred.
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Student or graduate from a CAAHEP accredited Neurodiagnostic Program preferred.
  • Eligible pathway for R.EEG T. or EP credentialing, as recognized by ABRET, at the time of hire.
  • Must obtain R.EEG T. or EP credential within 24 months of hire.
  • Requires current BLS certification.
  • May require ability to meet all EEG competencies based on department requirements.

Job Description

Prepares and provides neurophysiological testing and monitoring in the clinical, Neurotelemetry, and EMU settings according to departmental guidelines.   • Requires manual dexterity, visual acuity and the ability to concentrate for extended amounts of time under stressful conditions in order to properly and effectively administer Neurophysiological monitoring and testing.
