Job summary

Ascension St. Vincent Indianapolis Hospital in Indianapolis, IN invites qualified candidates to join the Neurodiagnostic Lab as a technician responsible for setup and preparation of equipment for ordered tests, including EEG, EP and PSG procedures.

You will review patient history, educate patients about procedures, monitor conditions, document results and report adverse reactions, while meeting licensure requirements such as BLS and ABRET credentialing within two years.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 month of hire date.
• ABRET credentialing within 24 months of hire date.
• Experience with EEG/EP/PSG procedures is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform setup and preparation of equipment and supplies for ordered tests.
• Review patient history, obtain necessary information, and educate the patient about procedures.
• Operate and maintain EEG/EP/PSG equipment and document results.
