Job summary

Indiana University Health System in Carmel seeks a Neurodiagnostic Technologist for a full-time day shift. Responsibilities include routine EEG placements and monitoring in clinical, neurotelemetry, and EMU settings with weekend/holiday on-call rotation. Coverage includes North Hospital and occasional trips to Fishers.

Preferred candidates hold a CAHEP-accredited Neurodiagnostic Program or related pathway with R.EEG T. or EP credentialing within 24 months and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree preferred.
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • CAAHEP accredited Neurodiagnostic Program preferred.
  • Eligible pathway for R.EEG T. or EP credentialing at hire; credentialing within 24 months.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • Able to meet EEG competencies as required by department.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares and provides neurophysiological testing and monitoring in clinical, neurotelemetry and EMU settings.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of typical neurophysiological patterns and reports findings.
  • Maintains quality recordings and troubleshooting of equipment.
  • Performs routine EEG placements and ambulatory services as assigned.
  • On-call rotation for weekends, overnights, and holidays; occasional coverage at North Hospital and Fishers.
