Job summary

Regions Hospital is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Tech to join the Neurodiagnostic Lab on a full-time basis in Saint Paul, MN. The role involves providing the technical component of all EEG testing types under a Neurologist’s direction, and maintaining patient data for interpretation and storage.

The position requires 6 months of patient care experience; preferred qualifications include an Associate Degree or higher and certification/enrollment in END-related programs. On-call rotation applies.

Regions Hospital is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Tech to work fulltime with our Neurodiagnostic Lab.

This position involves providing the technical component of all EEG testing types including routine, sleep deprived, portable, video and carotid endartectomy monitoring under the direction of a Neurologist; maintains patient data for interpretation, storage and retrieval; cleans and maintains equipment, and all monitoring products. Performs other duties as assigned.

Work Schedule

• 1.0 FTE
• Hours ranging from 06:30-19:30
• On call rotation: Every 3rd weekend, 1-2 nights per week

Required Qualifications

6 months patient care experience in a health care setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• An Associate Degree or higher is preferred or enrollment in an accredited ND program
• Certification in END or registration in one of the following areas: EEG (R. EEG T.), Evoked Potentials (R. EP T.), Nerve Conduction (R. NCS T.) or enrollment in END Technology program and END certification obtained within 5 years of hire preferred.
