Advocate Health is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technologist for full-time work across multiple Wake Forest Health Network sites in North Carolina. The role performs routine and complex EEG, EMG, NCV and evoked potentials, following ABRET standards and ensuring high-quality data collection.

Qualified candidates will have a Neurodiagnostic credential, a High School diploma or GED, BLS, EEG registry eligibility, and ABRET certification or eligibility within 2 years.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; graduate from an accredited Neurodiagnostic program with 3 years of experience preferred.
• BLS required; EEG registry or eligibility preferred.
• ABRET certification/board eligibility required within 2 years of hire and ongoing ABRET prep.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and complex EEG procedures, nerve conduction studies, evoked potentials and related tests.
• Maintains equipment operation, calibration and troubleshooting as needed.
• Collects patient history and transfers data to reports with accuracy.
• Adheres to ABRET standards and department protocols.
• Provides preceptor supervision to new technologists and students.
• Participates in ordering and maintaining departmental supplies.
