Driscoll Children's Hospital in Edinburg, TX seeks a Pediatric Neurodiagnostic Technologist to support EEG, LTM, EP, and NCS services under the Neurology team. You will coordinate with nurses and providers to ensure accurate studies and documentation, while educating patients and families on procedures.

The role requires CET certification with REEGT or ABRET eligibility within 24 months, and a strong focus on patient care in a pediatric hospital setting.

Competenze

• Associate degree in Neurodiagnostic Technology or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Certification required: CET; REEGT or ABRET eligibility within 24 months.

Mansioni

• Performs routine EEG setup and acquisition for inpatient and outpatient studies.
• Performs Long-Term Monitoring (LTM) setup, maintenance, and discontinuation.
• Conducts Evoked Potential (EP) studies including VEP, SSEP, BAER.
• Performs Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS) including motor and sensory testing.
• Troubleshoots technical issues and ensures proper functionality of equipment.
