Driscoll Health Plan is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technologist to assist with diagnosis by performing EEG, LTM, EP, and NCS studies. You will work closely with neurologists and healthcare staff to ensure accurate testing and high-quality patient care.

The role requires CET certification or REEGT, AA in Neurodiagnostic Tech or related experience, and collaboration with nursing staff to coordinate patient status and reports.

Competenze

• Associate’s degree in Neurodiagnostic Technology or two years related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.

Mansioni

• Performs routine EEG setup and acquisition for inpatient and outpatient studies.
• Performs Long-Term Monitoring (LTM) setup, maintenance, and discontinuation.
• Conducts Evoked Potential (EP) studies, including Visual Evoked Potentials (VEP), Somatosensory Evoked Potentials (SSEP), Brainstem Auditory Evoked Responses (BAER).
• Performs Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS), including motor and sensory testing.
• Troubleshoots technical issues, including impedance management and artifact reduction.
• Maintains equipment in good working order and ensures proper functionality prior to studies.
• Educates patients and families on procedures.
• Coordinates with nursing staff and providers regarding patient status and clinical changes.
• Ensures accurate and timely documentation of all studies.
