UPMC Procirca seeks a full-time Neurodiagnostic Technician I to join a specialized team in Pittsburgh. You will perform routine and complex neurodiagnostic procedures such as EEG, EP, Epilepsy Monitoring, PSG, and NCS under direct supervision, following established guidelines.

Qualifikationen

• Proficiently operate and record neurodiagnostic data under supervision.
• Follow established guidelines for routine and complex procedures.
• Collaborate with medical staff and supervisors to ensure accuracy and safety.

Aufgaben

• Operate computer equipment to record nervous system responses.
• Collaborate with supervisor and medical personnel to resolve problems.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on neurodiagnostic equipment.
• Document pertinent medical history from patient or family.
• Respond to medical emergencies to ensure patient safety.
• Schedule and prepare patients for procedures, including electrode placement.
• Identify EEG waveforms and communicate findings to staff.
