Job summary

Capital Health seeks an electroneurodiagnostic technologist to conduct EEG, ambulatory EEG, and long-term monitoring, and ICU patient monitoring. You will train other technologists and ensure accurate data collection and reporting.

The role emphasizes patient safety, data quality, and collaboration with physicians to support high-quality neurological care within the Capital Health system.

Qualifications

• Dual credential or neurodiagnostic credential and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
• REEGT with associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in electroneurodiagnostics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verifies patient identity and physician orders; places electrodes using 10/20 system.
• Obtains patient history and ensures safety protocols.
• Prepares technical reports for interpreting physicians; performs EEG and related studies.
• Transfers studies to reader station and documents charges.
• Maintains electrode impedance and ensures high-quality recordings.
• Performs various neurodiagnostic procedures including VEP, BAER, SSEP, ATC.
