Job summary

Emory Healthcare is hiring an EEG Technologist I to perform routine IP/OP EEG, ambulatory EEG, and LTME within neurodiagnostic settings. You will ensure patient safety, collect history, apply electrodes per 10-20 guidelines, and provide tech impressions while following ACNS guidelines.

Ongoing training continues until internal competencies are achieved. The role requires participation in on-call rotations, maintenance of equipment, and involvement in research or continuing education (ACE CEUs

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months experience in neurodiagnostics.
• 1 year EEG experience or graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited neurodiagnostic program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform EEG procedures per Emory Healthcare policy.
• Maintain patient safety during clinically significant events.
• Train under supervision until competencies are achieved.
• Participate in on-call rotation.
• Document and communicate clinically significant events and QT status.
