Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences or equivalent.
• Six to twelve months experience with studies including electromyography (EMG).

Responsibilities

• Perform electrodiagnostic tests to record nerve and muscle impulses.
• Assist physician in diagnostic processes.
• Coordinate operation of the electrodiagnostic laboratory.
• Prepare and interview patients; calibrate, operate and maintain testing equipment.
• Tabulate data and prepare reports for physician.
• Maintain inventory and assist in teaching medical students, house staff and fellows.
