Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• CNCT or AAET certification preferred within 2 years of hire.
• Experience as Neurodiagnostic Technologist a plus; 0–2 years for EMG Tech II.
• Familiarity with EMG/NCS procedures and basic electrophysiology concepts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare EMG testing rooms and maintain supplies.
• Coordinate patient flow with scheduling team.
• Calibrate EMG instruments for standard recordings.
• Perform NCS and EMG testing; identify normal vs abnormal results.
• Explain procedures to patients and obtain cooperation.
• Assist neurodiagnostic physicians during tests.
• Enter billing codes in Epic after study completion.
• Support inpatient EMG when required; ensure safety and privacy.
