Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Milford is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technician to perform EEG, EMG, and related neurodiagnostic procedures in our lab. The role requires on-call coverage, scheduling patients, and maintaining registration. The position emphasizes teamwork, training new staff, and equipment troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
• ABRET or AAET registration preferred.
• 1-2 years experience in patient care; ability to perform neurodiagnostic testing; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard and complex neurodiagnostic procedures as ordered by the physician.
• Provide on-call coverage as required.
• Schedule patients and perform related clerical, technical, and functional duties in the lab.
• Maintain current registration and/or work towards registration.
• Train new hires and act as a preceptor for students or new staff.
• Troubleshoot equipment and coordinate repairs.
• Perform all other tasks as needed.
