Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or associate's degree, or technical degree.
• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association obtained prior to hire date.
• Registered Electroencephalography Technologist (R. EEG T.) or ABRET board eligibility; prior EEG experience required; Nihon Kohden familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and prepares equipment/supplies for ordered tests.
• Reviews patient history, educates patient about procedures, and monitors patient condition.
• Operates and maintains EEG/EP/PSG equipment and corrects for artifacts.
• Scores, graphs, documents, and reports results of diagnostic procedures.
