Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalency.

Responsibilities

  • Performs testing procedures including EEGs, evoked potentials and CVE monitoring as assigned.
  • Performs training and clinical supervision of other electroneurodiagnostic personnel; develops, updates and maintains training program for CVE monitoring.
  • Prepares and adjusts daily work schedule to accommodate neurodiagnostic and CVE procedures as needed.
  • Maintains and cleans equipment including electrodes, EEG and evoked potential equipment.
  • Completes documentation thoroughly and accurately.
  • Corrects and reports equipment malfunctions; maintains a log of actions taken including notification of vendors when needed.
  • Performs mobile EEG services.
  • Maintains and performs appropriate storage of neurodiagnostic medical records.

Education

High school diploma or equivalency
Two years post-high school coursework in science or math
Bachelor's degree preferred
Registered EEG Technologist OR Registered Evoked Potential Technologist OR Certificate in Neurophysiological Monitoring
