Job summary

The Napierala Laboratory at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas seeks a Postdoctoral Researcher to contribute to translational and basic science research aimed at developing therapeutic strategies for neurodegenerative disorders. You will work with iPSC models, mouse systems, genome editing, sequencing, and proteomics to advance NIH‑funded projects.

Candidates must hold a PhD and/or MD; experience in mammalian cell culture and mouse models, plus a publication track record, is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a PhD and/or MD.
• Experience in mammalian cell culture or mouse models of neurological disorders is desirable.
• Publications in peer‑reviewed journals preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement novel research methods.
• Conduct in vitro and in vivo experiments.
• Plan and manage research projects; interpret data.
• Prepare presentations and peer‑reviewed publications.
• Contribute to grant applications.
