Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is hiring an Experienced Critical Care Nurse for the Neurosciences Critical Care Unit (NCCU). The NCCU at Lahey Clinic is a nine-bed unit with stroke center designation, delivering neurocritical care with advanced technology and a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, family education, and participation in quality and education initiatives. Eligible candidates have MA RN licensure, BLS, ACLS preferred, and ED/CCU experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice professional nursing in MA.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe patient care and coordinate delivery of quality care.
• Perform systematic patient and family assessment relevant to practice.
• Deliver age-appropriate care and evaluate outcomes.
• Educate patients and families about illnesses and treatments.
• Demonstrate professional behavior and collaboration with the team.
