Job summary

UC Irvine Health seeks a Physician Assistant to provide direct neurocritical care within the NCC, performing focused neurological examinations and coordinating patient care under CIDP guidance.

The PA will work with Neurology faculty, researchers, and clinical staff, supporting protocol-based care, data collection, and dissemination of findings while teaching trainees and students. A valid CA PA license and DEA are required.

Qualifications

• Neurocritical care expertise is required.
• Ability to communicate medical information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Strong teamwork with physicians, nurses, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct neurological assessment and medical intervention as a PA.
• Manage care within IRB protocols in the NCC and collaborate with Neurology faculty.
