Job summary

UC Irvine Health seeks a licensed Physician Assistant to join the Neurocritical Care Center. Under supervision, you will perform neurological and general exams, provide direct patient care, and support IRB protocols.

You will collaborate with Neurology faculty, research staff, and teach fellows, residents, and students. Requirements include CA PA license, NCCPA, and BLS/ACLS; and two+ years in neurocritical care.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of neurocritical care or related experience.
• California PA license with NCCPA certification and ability to practice.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care with neurological and general physical assessments in the Neurocritical Care Center.
• Perform neurological exams and manage care per IRB protocols.
• Collaborate with neurology faculty and research staff on patient care and protocols.
• Support teaching activities for fellows, residents, and students.
• Document findings and write medical reports and progress notes.
