Job summary

Shirley Ryan AbilityLab in Chicago, IL seeks an Occupational Therapist to evaluate, plan and direct therapy to restore independence in daily living activities. You will assess impairments, set goals with patients and families, and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the care team.

This role requires a Master’s in OT, Illinois OT license, and CPR/BLS certification. The position includes weekend rotations and opportunities to teach and supervise OT students as part of our clinical

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Illinois License to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
• CPR or BLS certification required.
• Commitment to continuing education and professional development.
• Understanding of growth and development across lifespan.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, assesses and plans OT treatment to restore function.
• Directs patient participation and collaborates with the care team.
• Documents patient care activities per department protocols.
• Supervises affiliated OT students and may teach courses.
• Participates in patient care conferences and education for patients and families.
• Performs other duties as assigned in the best interest of SRAlab.
